About this and why we did it:
"România, te iubim și nu te-am uitat!"
Every year, thousands of Romanian children pack their dreams into suitcases, leave behind their grandparents' warm embraces, the scent of home-cooked meals, and the fields where they first learned to run. They step onto planes, cross borders, and look back from car windows, waving goodbye to a land that is not just soil—but soul. We are those children. We left not because we stopped loving Romania, but because we loved it too much to accept that the best we could do was watch it struggle from within. We left seeking knowledge, opportunity, and tools—not just to build our own futures but to one day help build its.
It's not easy. Our hearts ache for the laughter of cousins at family gatherings, for the hymns of Christmas carolers on snowy nights, for the sense of belonging that only Romania can give. For every smile we wear abroad, there's a tear we shed in private, longing for the place that will always be acasă.
But we dream of returning—not to a Romania divided, weak, or scarred by the shadows of the past—but to a Romania that stands tall, united, and strong. A Romania where our children won't need to leave to find hope. A Romania where dreams flourish as abundantly as the forests of the Carpathians.
We fight for this dream. We fight because the voices of those who sang for freedom during the revolution still echo in our hearts. We fight because our love for Romania is not a tether that holds us back but a torch that lights the way forward.
Romanians everywhere, acum este momentul nostru! Your vote is not just a duty—it is an act of love, a bridge to the Romania we all believe in. Let's honor the sacrifices of our parents and grandparents. Let's create a home worth returning to—a Romania that welcomes her children back with open arms and a brighter future.
We may have left, but Romania has never left us. She is the rhythm in our hearts, the pride in our voices, and the fire in our fight.
Vote. For your family. For your future. For Romania.
